IFA 2009 Report
Many recently new introduced phones feature a full touch screen. Although it is considered a trend, not everybody seems keen to rely solely on a touchscreen, and it are exactly these consumers that demand a general keypad. They're hesitant to switch to a full touchscreen operated mobile phone. The solution for this group is the Samsung Tocco S8300. This mobile phone combines a general numeric keypad with a touchscreen, thus providing the user with two operating options. The British company Continental Mobiles has been selling exclusive cell phones and iPods online since September 2006. Gold versions of various cell phone brands and models are being sold. In addition, Continental Mobiles offer various mobile phones with embedded diamonds. All purchases are delivered with a so-called 'Gold Card', which stands for the exclusively British manufacturing of the product. Even though the Apple iPhone in itself is already a unique device, the combination with the additions of Continental Mobiles ensures that you, as a user, are guaranteed not to meet a similar phone.
Sony Alpha A700

The new Sony Alpha A700 was launched during a Sony press conference in Italy. Unfortunately, the surprise element was lost because one day earlier the Alpha introduction was disturbed by a leak caused by Sony. The Sony Alpha 700 is Sony’s second digital SLR camera that has to contribute to a continuously compiling series of SLR cameras, with which Sony manifests itself as renowned DSLR manufacturer. The Sony DSLR A700 is a digital SLR camera which is positioned in the middle segment, and with that, has to compete (heavily) with the new collection of Canon and Nikon D-SLR cameras, among others. During my stay in Italy, I had the chance to work with the Sony A700 for a short period.
